Bluetooth AVRCP button focus on Android

I typically use both Poweramp and Subsonic on my Android phone for music playback. Poweramp is preferred for playing music stored locally, and obviously Subsonic works best for streaming.

When headset button response is enabled in both applications, Subsonic typically "wins" and will respond to button presses even though I'm actively using Poweramp and not Subsonic. I know that the most recent method for implementing headset keys in Android allows applications to respond when they are the last focused application. I'm not sure that Subsonic is using this method, as it responds even if Poweramp is the last focused application on my phone.

Has anyone else run into this? Does anyone know if Subsonic is using the latest method for playing nice with other AVRCP-enabled applications?

i am sorry i do not have an answer for your question, but since you are a poweramp user i thought i might ask you a question.

i love poweramp and was wondering if you knew a way to use poweramp to play subsonic, instead of using the subsonic app on android phones.

i too have the same issue you do with the bluetooth headset controls starting up poweramp even if you have been using subsonic app, if i find an answer to that question i will be sure to swing back this way and let you know.

thanks
