Subsonic Forum

Hi all, (First post here....)

2 (hopefully) simple questions :

1) Where is the Jetty HTTP log ? The one where I can see the IP addresses of those who connect to my server, http codes, pages requested, errors etc.. I was looking for /var/log/jetty.log or something...
2) I wish to use AWSTATS on this log. Has anyone done this already ? Can you share your AWSTATS config ? I asume that a custom log type needs to be created. Or that jetty needs to be configured to start using a standard (apache) log.

I installed and donated/registered subsonic on my own server. Using the Ubuntu installer on an instalation where apache was already installed. Created a new subdomain and enabled proxy forwarding and https through apache but I cannot find a simple log file.... <GGGRRRR>

Ohhh no.3 -> In this forums user control panel I see a registered/donated membership option but it is (still) cleared. Is a modarator supposed to enable this or did I do things in the wrong order ? (First pay the donation and only after register at the forums.)

Howdy Arjan, and welcome to the forum!

Sorry I cannot help with 1 or 2, but on 3, you should have received an email with a registration code (regcode) to insert into Subsonic, which permanently enables the API/subsonic.org address,etc. Sometimes it may end up in spam folder, so check there, too. Enjoy, and hope you get 1 and 2 resolved!

THX for the reply.. Got confused on nr 3. Just skip that.

I can use the apache logs for awstats but they do not contain the errors reported by jetty.
