Several different Java Errors, Java not detected.

just found this nice server and it seems to be the right one...
but, i have some errors and problems during install and testing...
first at all, I'm not native English, more a Kraut living far away from Europe...
running version is 4.5 on W7x64 SP1 with Java 7 x64 b1
1st issue =Trouble with installer, "could not detect Java" or similar...start to download, unfortunately..
2st Issue= decided to run portable Version, Java 7 is detected and Script starts. after indexing and refreshing Site comes Java out of memory bug...
reading ALL Posts about this in this forum and changed subsonic.sh to 256..
3thd Issue = restart Server and Site = NO Change!
complains still memory lack @87 Mb
several times tried to put different memory sizes, still no change, it always shows 87 Mb or similar, and then internal error.
finally uninstalled Java 64 and installed with Installer and latest Java 32..
Changed Memory to 256 and now it works...

iCore 5 with 12 GB Ram
Can somebody please explain those Issues and is it impossible to program flexible Memory use to avoid long time search about this Java Bug?
I prefer the portable App but this won't accept the change in subsonic.sh, confusing.
