Subsonic Forum

Every time that I do a upgrade of the Windows stand alone version i loos all the setting. Can't find a way to do that without losing all my settings. Look around on the forum but can't find e solution. Help???

If you are using the windows installer you shouldn't lose your data if you just install over the old version. However if you are using the stand alone package I would suggest making a backup of subsonic.script within the db folder.
This is where the users / music folders /other settings are stored. If you stop SS replaced the new file with the backup you should retain your settings.
Hopefully someone will confirm what I suggest will actually work
