Subsonic Forum

Hi,

I recently bought subsonic, really like it so far.
But there is a downside for me, I create a lot of playlists with winamp, winamp stores every playlist automatically in "D:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Winamp\Plugins\ml" as a m3u8 file.
I looked in subsonic and I found the option to include a playlist folder, so I entered the path to the winamp folder, but subsonic doesn't recognize my winamp playlists.
Is there some sort of solution to solve this problem without saving my playlists manually everytime to another format?

This should be fairly easy fix as its just a change to udf8 support and recognising the file extension.

(Says me who hasn't a clue where to start )

that was message to the developers (Sindre) not you but if you can get it working please share

I don't use playlist of the type .m3u8, i only use .m3u and .pls when i save playlists in winamp.
m3u8 is the Unicode version of m3u.

Perhaps you can try to create a playlist as .m3u instead of .m3u8 and see if Subsonic will recognize them?

Not sure how to fix the ones you have already created though...

I can save them manually, but in winamp, in the right menu, you can rightclick on "playlist" for "create a new playlist" which is automatically stored as a m3u8 file, and I can't find an option to save those as a m3u file.
Because my playlists change a lot, I don't want to save my playlist manually everytime.
