Android requiring phone reboot

Searched around and didn't see my problem. Android client running under 2.3.3 on a DroidX. Installation went without a hitch, everything runs perfectly. However, after a length of time, the phone client stops streaming songs when I request them. It adds the songs to the queue, but no music. I have to reboot my phone to get Subsonic to operate properly again. This has happened for several days. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Now, several days later, the situation is worse. The client is able to contact the home server and can browse the contents, but refuses to download, cache, or stream anything. I'm getting nothing at all. Has this happened to anybody?

Very frustrating, and it's making google music look quite attractive at the moment...

I've uninstalled everything on server and client side, then reinstalled. Removed all other media apps on the phone. I can access my server on my mobile browser and stream perfectly. I can access my server and music lists in the android app. But I can't stream, download, or play anything. Out of ideas and at my wits end...

I find it hard to believe nobody else has had this perplexing problem. It's a shame because I love this software--until it inevitably quits working. Rebooting my phone every few hours to get it working just isn't worth it for me. Looks like it's Google Music for me :(
