Subsonic Forum

I cant figure out what is going on with my subsonic server. I recently got a new router and upgraded my subsonic to 4.5 (build 2385) – August 11, 2011 at the same time. I setup port forwarding and it worked fine, but it behaves very erratic. i can be streaming music and when i go to change albums it doesnt load correctly. I reload page and i get this:



reload..same thing, reload, reload, reload, give up.

i try in 15 min and everything is back to normal. I cant figure it out, any ideas?

Do you get the same problem with chrome or IE?
And what version of FF are you running? It could be due to one of the very frequent FF updates.

Ok next question what port are you using?

Port 80

OK change the subsonic port to something else say 8080 and I suggest you read http://monroeworld.com/android/subsonic/
Port 80 is used by other services so they are all fighting over the same real estate
Don't forget to forward the new port in the router!

Same issue on 8080 very strange
