I am trying to set up Subsonic Services Logon page to allow access to my Iomega 2TB NAS.
I'm able to get as far as obtain the new name (.\Stuart) yet when i try to stop the service i end up with the 1089 error message.
I am running Win7 on an Acer 5810 TZG over a wireless network.

Sounds like your NAS has mounted itself to a mountpoint in your windows file system called "Stuart." Unfortunately, with Subsonic, that is not going to work.
Is the NAS accessible on the network directly by name? ie, if you go to start->Run and type "\\<NAS NAME>" and hit enter, does it display anything?
Let us know and we'll help,
Glenn

Hi Glenn
Thanks for your reply.
I did as you suggested try the run command (\\IOMEGA-06F611) and I was able to view all partioned drives on my NAS. My Music is on drive "W" at address \\192.168.1.104

OK, then can you specify \\IOMEGA-06F611\MusicShareName or \\192.168.1.104\MusicShareName in Subsonic? Does that work?
You may have to change the account that Subsonic runs under if not... let us know.
