Moving to new server

I have a web server running subsonic, it's about 4 years old and I am building a new one. Am I correct to assume I can install subsonic on the new one, then take the program file/subsonic from the old one and overwrite the new install in order to keep my users and preferences?

You want to move c:\subsonic from the old server to the new server, not c:\Program Files\Subsonic.
All of the settings and databases are in the c:\Subsonic directory.
That is of course unless you changed from the default...

Ok thanks. No I didn't change the directory, I'll get right on this.
