Unable to connect from sony dash to mac
Posted: Thu Sep 22, 2011 3:24 amI give up. I have been trying to connect from my Sony Dash to my iTunes library on my iMac and keep failing. I set up my Subsonic account on my network to access by way of my name.subsonic.org. The test runs fine on the Subsonic Settings Network page. I then go to MyDash for my Sony Dash (Chumby) and add the Subsonic app. I enter my Subsonic http: address and my Username and Password. I then try to access the app on my Sony and it says it can't connect. I even tried changing my password. I tried using localhost:4040 but didn't really think that would work either and it didn't. I have no idea what to try next. From all the rave reviews, I sure would love to get this thing going. It would be worth it to me to pay for it if I could just get it to work. Can anyone help?
