Subsonic Forum

Hi All:

I was looking at the transfer speeds from both sides of a connection today and saw this oddity (see screenshot). Could someone please explain the significance of the difference?

Not sure what you mean except maybe the difference between KiloBITS and KiloBYTES.

Subsonic is reporting in KiloBITS per second (kbs) and that number is approximately eight times what is reported in the bmon output in KiloBYTES per second (kBs ir KiB) that you show...

365.45 kBs * (8 bits in a byte) = 2923.6 kbs
