change upload folder /tmp

I'm running Centos6 on an 8GB partition and have a storage drive mounted to hold all my data. Subsonic incoming is pointing to the storage drive for uploads, however last night i found that subsonic completely crashed due to running out of physical drive space. Traced it back to the upload file in /tmp that it created. One of my users tried to upload a 10gb zip file, and the system ran out of space.

Searching through support - the only reference i can find to changing this is by editing a tomcat file. I have no instance of tomcat running on this machine, with the exception of subsonic... i'm literally not finding any tomcat files on the server.

Which file do i need to edit to change so that subsonic's incoming upload file won't fill up my system partition?

Thanks in advance!
