Subsonic Forum

Subsonic Newbie here.

I have successfully set up a subsonic server, with internet access via a subsonic.org address, on an Ubuntu box. Due to wireless network card problems i now want to use a Windows XP Professional platform. Can I do this with the same subsonic domain? If so how, as typing in the address returns a "domain unavailable ".

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i don't want to register a new domain.

Have you turned off the SS service on Ubuntu box?
If you have give the xp pc the same IP address and port no as the Ubuntu and see if that works.
(turn off the Ubuntu 1st)
