Binatone Homesurf Tablet 705

Postby phildunford » Fri Oct 14, 2011 9:47 pm

I'm trying to use a Binatone Homesurf Tablet 705 as a client for subsonic - it uses Android (2.1 I think).

I've tried to download the app from the Android market but it won't let me, it says 'no phone associated with this account' but of course this tablet is not a phone...

It picks up my subsonic fine though it's browser, but does not have a player that can play the music.

Is there anyway I can set this unit up for subsonic - any help appreciated!!

As far as I can see, it's not available from the download page.

If you mean the one here: http://www.subsonic.org/pages/apps.jsp it only refers to Android phones, and even so redirects you to the Android market...

if there is another download which has an app for non-phone Android devices, could you tell me where it is please?

Developed and maintained by Sindre Mehus, the author of Subsonic. Available for free on Android Market, or download it here.

If you had clicked on the here you would end up at http://sourceforge.net/projects/subsonic/files/android/3.0.1/
:? If it will work on your tablet is a different matter.
