Subsonic Forum

Hi,

Just tried to create a playlist, successfully done.

I want Subsonic to continue choosing random songs after the playlist has finished, but I don't seem to have that option?
Basically I want Subsonic to keep choosing random tracks ad infinitum?

Any pointers grateful.

You only get that option if you create a random playlist.

Yeah, I saw that post and figured that was where I was going wrong, but I've created a random playlist, saved it, and still no option to play more random songs? What am I missing here?

Hmmm.... The built in Sonic Blue theme doesn't have that option



I've tried a few other themes just now, and none of them have that option. I haven't modded any files though..... odd.....

Very strange!!!
I changed my theme to Sonic blue and found that it did not appear for me either.
So I changed back to my default theme and its missing from there too WTF
I am glad I took the screen shot otherwise I would have thought I just imagined it

Edit It appears if you select jukebox or external player but disappears for web player and external (with playlist)

Now that's odd...can anyone surmise why this would be the case?

I can see why it would not appear for external (Playlist) because all the track info is sent to the external player therefore a new playlist is reqd. when tracks are added
While with an external (no playlist) player only a stream is sent so it can be changed on the fly.
But why it does not appear for the web player I cannot imagine
Perhaps the developer could enlighten us (not a very subtle hint)

Ahhhh I'm glad It's not me going even more barmy!

Hopefully we shall have some light shed on this soon!
