I have tried to open the site with the 2 local https addresses provided with no luck. Any recommendations would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.

I have exausted all of my efforts. I try to log in with http://localhost:4040/, http://localhost:8080/, http://localhost:80/ to no avail. Internet says localhost not set up to do this. I have tried to disable my firewall as well. No Luck. Could it be the router? Might be something really easy as it usually is. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Those addresses will only work from the server you installed SS on.
Until you give us further info we cannot really help further.

Well, you just said you can't open the web site under a secure SSL connection, but you don't even use the "https" prefix in your URL. Please try https://localhost:(port if necessary)/ and then if it doesn't work, just let us know under what OS your subsonic is working.

Also if your hosting SS on another machine localhost will not work, you will need to use its IP address and port. For example my SS is hosted on another machine with ip 10.9.80.10, so to access it i type http://10.9.80.10:4040 in my browser. And if you have a firewall on make sure you allow the program/port access out.
