I'm not sure if the proxy is the problem but every attempt by this program to scrobble by entering my user/pass under admin fails.....error in the about section just shows:
[11/19/11 7:54:54 PM EST] INFO AudioScrobblerService Last.fm registration for Apologize encountered network error. Will try again later. In queue: 54
A similar entry for each song with the queue growing larger....

I have a user on my server who stopped scrobling on Nov 19. Nothing comes up on the log though and I'm scrobbling just fine.

I also use Squid (specifically on SmoothWall router). This is a problem for me too. Please help me fix it. Thank you.

Interesting. I was using policy based routing to redirect all my HTTP traffic to my transparent squid proxy and getting this same error. After reading this thread, I set up routing so that the subsonic server makes direct connections. Everything works now.
