Subsonic Forum

I've searched for an answer to this, so, if it has been covered, I apologize for wasting anyone's time with this.

I recently got subsonic and LOVE it. I supported the software 100% by sending money. It's a great service.

here is my issue. I can successfully log in to my subsonic web page and stream all of my music from any location I am at using a PC. It works flawlessly. Where I am having the issue, is, sharing a link to a CD to one of my family members (Not just a single song. A CD). It is sporadic. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it is only a single song off a CD that doesn't work..sometimes only 1 song will play and the rest don't work,..etc...etc. I have tested this with a number of different browsers, with 3 or more family members, and, it appears there is no rhyme or reason as to why it's happening. When they follow the link, the page will open, displays the CD, all the track names with the album art, but, as soon as they hit "play", it does nothing. it's as if they aren't even hitting the play button. the song appears to be buffering and filling up the buffer, but, nothing plays. (once again, some songs do, some don't).

I find this odd because when listening to my music on the web interface, it plays EVERYTHING. i never have an issue... If someone can please assist, it would be greatly appreciated I love this software.

using the latest version of SubSonic (not the beta)

Give the latest beta a try - there has been a change eg

Bugfix: Don't estimate content-length for web players.

Thanks for the quick reply.

So, i downloaded to beta. Relaunched my subsonic server on my mac, and, am still having this problem.

Is there something else I can offer (more information) that would assist in helping me with this? Was there a setting I needed to change "after" installing the beta?

Do you have the same problem with mp3's? or is only m4a's
I presume the log you posted was while the error was occurring?
