Search function not working

Having a problem with search.

Setup is as follows:

1. Have a MacPro running latest Lion in a dual boot config. Windows partition contains all of my music (use Subsonic on both sides) in a artist/album/track format. Windows drive is formatted with NFTS (is running latest Windows 7).
2. Using Tuxera NFTS to mount windows drive in Lion with read/write privileges. Have confirmed that I have r/w to this drive.
3. In my subsonic setup (running latest 4.5 version, paid), the media folder is pointed to this NTFS mounted directory and I get all of my music loaded with no problems. Music is listenable and I see the individual folders on the left hand view. Clicking on an artist brings up the respective albums and I can choose from there. However, when I try and search for an artist/album/track/etc from the search box, I get no results.
4. Using iSUB on iPhone and can login to the server, but again the folder view shows that access to the folder is restricted when I try and search or use the folder shortcut. However, if I use the random album selection mode, I can get albums and they play without error.

I assume that it has something to do with the NTFS mount and access. Don't know where to start. Anyone here have a similar setup?

Best,

J

Update your search index and then check the SS log and see if there are any errors.

If you have manually forwarded the ports in your router you can ignore those network warnings
You should have had at the end of the search index listing something like :-
Code: Select all
[02/12/11 05:23:12 GMT]   INFO   SearchService   Updating Lucene search index.
[02/12/11 05:23:30 GMT]   INFO   SearchService   Created search index with 76230 entries.

Did you?
