New Router Installed

When I first installed Subsonic 4.5 on pc (running XP) for use with Roku, install went flawlessly without any configuring or tweeking. That was good as I'm not at all tech savy to have to go thru what a lot of users on this forum have to go thru to get a working Subsonic. That is until my old D-link router died and was replaced with a new D-Link DIR-655. Now subsonic service will not start. So not being tech savy as I stated, I did a complete uninstall of subsonic 4.5 and then reinstalled hoping the new install would configure itself with my new router. No dice. Starting service does nothing. No icon in system tray. The default http://localhost/ is not recognized at all.

http://localhost should be pointing to the IP address 127.0.0.1. This is a loopback IP address, and does not contact the router at all. The router is not the problem.
