The machine I am hosting subsonic on had multiple IP addresses. I bound subsonic to a specific IP on the machine, but if I go to create a ______.subsonic.org address it points to the machines main IP address which is not the one subsonic is hosted on.

Agreed. This is a bug. It seems subsonic is picking an arbitrary ip address from the server. When I check out my just created .subsonic.org it resolves to the ip address on my eth1:1 virtual IP address which I used exclusively for a specific purpose. It should be possible to select which IP address the subsonic.org subdomain IP address advertises.

Yep, I'll verify this is an issue. I had the same problem when I was installing Subsonic at work the other day. The machine had 2 network adapters, and Subsonic was registering the one with an APIPA address. Not working well that way. Drove me to distraction for about 45 minutes before I figured out what was happening and disabled the other adapter.
