Subsonic Forum

I have been trying to get Subsonic to play the following song which plays fine in Foobar and MPC-HC

However, whenever I attempt to play it in subsonic, it automatically pauses it self and doesn't seem to progress.

I can play the .flac version of the song perfectly fine, and the song wasn't in use by any other process. I should probably just transcode the FLAC to 320 anyways.

I have the same file (naming and bit rate the same - so acquired from the same cough! source )
and it played fine for me - although with that artist one can never me too sure

Well it happens on more then one artist. It fails in one browser, and can play in another.
Not so sure it is dependant on cache. This was the first time I had actually attempted to play that song, as well as others.

(I really need to be transcoding my FLAC to 320. )

Still seems to happen, and it is only happening on FLAC.

I attempted to disable the transcoding as it seemed to be causing problems when I would listen at work. When I am at home, it fully loads the song, and then just "skips" to the next one.

I was using the default transcoding setting, before I felt that was what was causing problems (Flash Player kept crashing) at work. After removing that, flash player no longer crashed, but I still am unable to play FLAC, as well as MP3 files.

I did try clearing browser cache, flash data storage, and any "temp" files that were left in my user profile. Still experiencing the issue.

I do have a significant amount of stoppages with the player that I am working on as well, though they seem to be pretty random. I don't really have any way of telling if they are the server or the client dropping out, though
