No music folders found. Please change the settings -RESOLVED

Postby mistaox » Fri Aug 03, 2007 2:38 am

I upgraded to 3.1.

It was working for an entire day.
Now I get the dreaded "No music folders found. Please change the settings." message.

All my folders are pointing to UNC paths.

I am able to reach the UNC paths from the same machin that runs subsonic. Any suggestions.

PS: Local HDD paths still work

Sorry to hear that. I can't think of any changes between 3.0 and 3.1 that should cause this. Could it be some Windows security issue?

I'll experiment with UNC paths to learn more about it (I'm currently only using local disks).

I figured it out.

I recently decided to virtualize my installation of Subsonic.

I created a Virtual machine using VMWARE Workstation.
I cloned the machine and installed Subsonic. I joined the machine to the domain, but neglected to clean the SSIDS...Once I did that..it worked fine.
