HTTP 404 not found-"Address already in use."
Posted: Sat Dec 31, 2011 4:53 pmThis is very frustrating. I am using windows Vista Ultimate. I downloaded Subsonic for use with Roku (and paid for it). All I get is HTTP 404 not found. In addition, in my Subsonic control panel it tells me "Address already in use. Please change port number". No idea how to do that. From reading through the posts on this site, obviously I was not aware that I would need to know how to configure my router and change my port, etc. I have no idea how to even get started getting Subsonic to work, even though I am sure this must be a common problem for new users that are not familiar with using servers and such. I am usually actually pretty good when it comes to most of this type stuff;after all I am an electronics engineer. Unfortunately, I cant find any simple instructions as to how to get Subsonic to work!
