Hi
I've installed subsonic standalone on Freenas and mostly it is working. However, the transcoding has been difficult. I'm trying to get ffmpeg to work.

I've set the package path by:
setenv PACKAGESITE ftp://ftp-archive.freebsd.org/pub/FreeB ... es/Latest/

If I don't do this, then when I do a pkg_add nothing is found (whatever path exists in my sI ystem doesn't work)

So I then
Code: Select all
pkg_add -v -r ffmpeg

And things seem okay. I move ffmpeg to /var/subsonic/transcoders
However:

Code: Select all
freenas:/var/subsonic/transcode# ffmpeg -i
ffmpeg: Command not found.

I don't understand why it says command not found.

I try to play a .flac song and get:
Code: Select all
[1/2/12 6:15:25 PM GMT]   INFO   PlaylistInputStream   admin listening to "Bluem/Demarkus Lewis - Why Me - Da Music - Bluem.flac"
[1/2/12 6:15:25 PM GMT]   DEBUG   TranscodeInputStream   Starting transcoder: [/var/subsonic/transcode/ffmpeg] [-i] [/mnt/Fileserver/APE/Bluem/Demarkus Lewis - Why Me - Da Music - Bluem.flac] [-ab] [128k] [-v] [0] [-f] [mp3] [-]

Any ideas on what to do with this?
thanks
