Can't play movies in admin account [Resolved]

I'm not sure what is up but for some reason I can't play movies in the admin account. I can in all the other accounts I have set up including my Android device. I even created a new 'test' account and was successfull playing movies with that one. I've tried all the options for players. It shows the movie file and the check box but there is no 'add' icon to the left of the checkbox that would allow me to add it to the current playlist. I feel this should be a setting somewhere that I'm just missing but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I don't want to create an account just so I can play movies when I can play music with no problem from the admin account.

Anyone have any ideas? TIA

I will be very surprised if you see the add icon, for video files, on any of user accounts.
Videos are not played using the normal playlist eg you cannot queue them.
When you say the admin account do you mean initial admin a/c?
If so try stopping and restarting subsonic server - that sometimes cures the problem with permissions not working for some a/c's

You are correct...my bad... There is no add icon but there is no play icon in the admin a/c as there is in the other user accounts. I've tried stopping and restarting subsonic and am having the same issue on different computers so it's not specific to one machine.

I've been using Subsonic of music for about a year and have loved it. Just this week I decided to try it with movies. This one hitch is the only problem I'm having and I'm sure it's something simple and stupid. LOL Driving me nuts. It's always the stupid stuff that bothers me the most.

Just do a quick double check to make sure the admin account isn't in party mode. Go to the admin's personal settings when logged in as admin, and make sure the party mode checkbox isn't checked.
