Artist tickbox being ignored in browse 4.6 [Resolved]

Postby BKKKPewsey » Thu Jan 05, 2012 5:33 pm

In settings/personal there are tick boxes for what you want to display for both the browse and playlist.
I have noticed that the artist box is ignored for the browse mode.
Can any other users confirm that and if it does work what version of SS you have.
(Not sure if it ever worked and if it did what version it was :? )

SS version 4.6 final

I have 4.5 and I just tried this. It doesn't display the artists unless the artists in one album (folder) are different from other songs in the same album (folder).

Well spotted - works the same with 4.6
Sort of makes sense as well - you only need it for compilations :)

BTW, if you want to show the artist regardless of whether or not multiple artists exist, there is a way. Anyone interested?
