New Router = Problems.

Hello,

I just switched over to a Cisco DPC3825 router and am now having problems connecting my subsonic account to my iSub app for iPhone.

Under Settings>Network it says Router Found
But it also says boldty.subsonic.org is registered, but could not connect to it. (ConnectTimeoutException)

I don't really know what I'm doing, so I apologize if this seems dumb.

Have you forwarded the port that you are using in the router?
Check with http://canyouseeme.org to test.

Okay, for some reason when I log into subsonic it says my ip is 192.168.011 but when I go to do the test it say its 70.76.39.89. I have no idea whats going on.

When you log on to SS ON YOUR OWN LAN it will show your internal IP.
canyouseeme is reporting your external IP

I get this message.

Error: I could not see your service on 70.76.39.89 on port (1025)
Reason: Connection timed out

I thought I was forwarding the port correctly, but it doesn't seem to work on this router.

Have a look on portforward.com and see if they have instructions for your router.

I read through Portforward.com, did everything it says, but I can't get my port to open. I'm lost and have no idea how to get this incredible service back. I've also tried calling my service provider and they won't help me.

That's it for me.

Bye bye.

Start on Page 70...use your SS port as both Start and End. Save, and reboot router, and test with canyouseeme.org. :)
