Hello, i have a guess user account for streaming music only. Is there also a way to block them from using any of the subsonic apps?

I am fairly certain the answer is no without modding.
So you want to disable the api for a named user - the trouble with that is that will stop them using other apps
eg perisonic etc - is that what you want?

I must ask why though ? are you trying to prevent them from caching the music?

Well since guest can only stream they wouldn't be able to cache songs with any app correct? Hmmm not sure what I want to do now, will think about it.

Thanks!

That isn't downloading. That's caching. Caching just means that the user won't have to wait for the file to load before playing.
