Securing Subsonic

Postby FlyingSaucrDude » Mon Aug 27, 2007 8:12 pm

Hi everybody -- ready for another stupid question from a newb?

So, I've gotten SSL working with Subsonic/Tomcat just fine. My question is, is there anyway I can use Tomcat to restrict file access so the *only* file that can be accessed without SSL is the stream.m3u file? In other words, I want to force users to login on the SSL secured port, but still be able to stream music insecurely.

Has anyone done this before?

Thanks!
