No Route to Host Exception

Been running Subsonic for nearly a year with zero issues and total stability. But last two weeks have been terrible. Keeps going offline. Have not added any new software or changed security settings with router or computer.

Subsonic appears to be online (green icon in tray) and I can sign-in if I am home using same router.

But if I or other user tries to access remotely, I will not connect.

If I go into Subsonic settings:

Status: Successfully forwarding Port 80

but

Status: registered but no route to host exception

I can solve this by stopping service and restarting (sometimes) or I have to uncheck access your server over internet and toggle that a few times. Sometimes it comes right back with respond successfully message, other times I need to keep starting/stopping/toggling.

This is a major nuisance and I'd like to figure out a resolution, thanks in advance for any help that you can offer.

Sounds like your router has stopped behaving in regards to uPNP.

Have you tried to forward the correct port manually yourself?

After you have done what Glenn has suggested it might be a good idea to re-boot the router as well.
Some isp's block outgoing traffic on port 80, especially if they think you have a server,
so it might be wise if you change the port no. to a non-standard port eg: 8080
