Subsonic Forum

Hi,

i installed subsonic on my android phone. When my phone is connected by wifi al works fine.
But when wifi is of and my phone connects trough a mobile connection (3g or hspa) then i get a network error. Internet is working fine for the rest of my phone.

The Subsonic server is installed on a Debian 5 VPS server i own and the web interface is reacheble and working great. And the webinterface is also reacheble from my phone.

In my settings i have tried the following servers:
http://mydomain.nl:4040 (replaced with domain of server)
http://12.12.12.12:4040 (replaced with ip adres of server)

when setting easy-to-remember setting i get following: Status: mydomain.subsonic.org responded successfully.

Help needed here.

Have you tried a server address of mydomain.subsonic.org (all lowercase)?

I found out that capitalization in the subsonic address causes connection failures...

i've been having an issue attempting to connect to my server via my android device. i had the HTC Evo3D which worked swimmingly until about 2 weeks ago and thought maybe it was the device. nope, i tried on my replacement Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4G...same issue. all the info is correct as far as login info. ports are forwarded correctly on my router.
i'm having this issue regardless of being connected to my wifi or 3G/4G connection.

anyone have a fix or workaround for this?

btw...here's my collection stats. i've seen a few posts that mention splitting up the files into smaller folders but, again, i never had an issue until 2 weeks ago...

Try canyouseeme.org for your chosen port # to esnsure your router is still configured to use it.
