Problems connecting to domain host

Hey guys. I've been using Subsonic for a long time now. I usually used my laptop to connect but recently started to use my desktop since the laptop's fan seems to be dying. Anyway, Since installing it on the desktop, I've been able to resolve a <name>.subsonic.org only once. Every other time, it says "successfully registered, but could not connect to it." I have my router ports forwarded and subsonic confirms this for me as well.

I managed to get it to work once. Why does it fail every other time?
Also, this happens with any <name>.subsonic that I try. I was thinking that it could be the laptop holding on to the name, but I'm not sure that's it.

Thanks

Probably its the router that needs editing. Have you changed the router firewall rules to point to your new IP address?

Sigh... It looks like this computer wasn't setup for static ip yet, so it changed ips on me and my settings weren't valid. Thanks for pointing me back at the router lol
