I have almost the same issue.
My Android app works perfectly when I'm connected through Wifi.
But when I'm using data network, the song doesn't start and the app says "Download 0 b".
The port is open, and I can browse files in the app ; just can't listen music...

Can you have someone on a different phone network try it?
It is possible that your ISP on either side (either the one you use at home or the one that provides internet service to your phone) is filtering traffic based on its content.
You are not using SSL, correct? Turning that on may alleviate the problem, as your ISP would not be able to see inside the packets to see what kind of traffic it is.
I am willing to test from our US Verizon network if you want to set me up a guest account and PM me the login information...
HTH,
Glenn

Hi,
I'm now using SSL, and it works. I had to use a random port because Google Chrome doesn't want to connect on port 443 without a valid certificate.
Thank you for your help. I hope that it will work for you belette.
PS : My network is provide by Bouygues Telecom.
