Subsonic Forum

Hi everyone,

I'm sure this is a simple stupid question, but I'm brand new to Subsonic and don't really have a clue about how things work yet.

I'm trying to just have it look in a directory called say 2011, which has several other folders in it. I want it to play everything in that directoy in random order so that I can listen to it like an internet radio station. will that work?

Can I then setup another "channel" with another folder to play at the same time?

If you your folder "2011" as root media folder into subsonic you can then create/play a random playlist just using that folder.

You can create another stream by logging on as another user

I agree that it seems weird that I can use the app to select all songs... and event add them to a playlist.... just not my current playlist. Seems like a missing feature.
