Can't connect remotely

I have iSub on my iPad and my iPhone. When I am at home using the same network where my music is stored (iTunes on MS Vista desktop) then I can connect and play through the home music system.
When I am remote, like now, I have never been able to connect. I am getting Error Code 8.
Any suggestions.

Where? on the pc or isub app?

If its on the isub I suggest you try asking on the isub forum or contacting the dev.
