My android handset doesn't support flash. How can I change the settings in subsonic so that it will stream in a video format that my handset will play. It supports h.263 codec and mp4

Right now there is no way to play video on an android platform through Subsonic without Flash.

If you're fine hosting an FTP server in addition to Subsonic, there is an alternative mentioned here.
