Help with jukebox mode on linux
Hello. I'm having quite a time with jukebox mode on my server. The web player works fine, as does the Android app, for playing through other devices. I can't get anything out of jukebox mode. There is no visible error reported. I've tried via the web and Android player. Once playback is started, the transcoding appears to be in progress:
I can't find this transcoding anywhere in the settings. Is it hard-coded for use in jukebox mode? I've tried changing the transcoding for the jukebox player (using suggestions from the Transcoders page on the wiki), but regardless of what transcoders I enter and associate with the player, I always get the ffmpeg line shown above.
I compiled audioDevList and have tried every line in subsonic.sh with the same results (no playback). Interestingly, I installed the Windows version on XP Professional running in VirtualBox on the same machine, and jukebox mode works perfectly.
Playback Application and version: web player and Android app v3.3.
Subsonic Version: 4.6 (build 2583) – December 6, 2011
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_25, Linux (24.8 MB / 88.9 MB)
Hardware Platform: Slackware 13.37 - Linux (servername) 2.6.37.6 #3 SMP Sat Apr 9 22:49:32 CDT 2011 x86_64 AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
Java Memory Limit: (Windows: found in the Subsonic Agent in the taskbar) n/a, linux
Problem Filename: Really all of them, but as an example: 01- Cherub Rock.flac
Output from ffmpeg -i: (If you open a command prompt and type 'ffmpeg -i <filename>' what is the output? Ideally put this in a "code" block)
Last ten log file lines: (The last ten or so lines copied and pasted from the About screen in the Subsonic Web Interface. Ideally these will be in a CODE block as well.)
Thanks much in advance.
