K, so I'm starting a new topic for my new problem. And yes I searched the forums first to see if I could find anything related to this.

So when I log in to localhost after starting my server it says:
"Status: The web address "xxx" is already in use. Please select another."

But,when I click save it says:
"Status: johnzamp.subsonic.org responded successfully."

So which is it? Are you gonna register it or not? Cuz I've been using this address for over a year now and I'd like to keep using it thanx.

If I put a 1 on the end it works fine

Is there a way to reset this, or do you think that someone stole my address from my previous thread just to be an a$$. If that's the case, fine, I'll pick a new one. But it would be easier for me and my friends if I could use my original address.

Don't panick, I've seen this a few times before.

When you reinstalled did you reenter your Registration license? Is the Donate button visible on the top?

If you go to help/About and hit the Donate button that page will show if SS knows it is licensed OK (scroll down page)
If it does go to Settings/Network and uncheck "Automatically configure your router to allow incoming connections to Subsonic (using UPnP or NAT-PMP port forwarding)."

Then Save.

Let me know what results you get. Although possible, it's not likely that anyone has stolen your SS name or you would probably get the login page when you type it in.

Let me know what respones you get after you Save.

Currently neither name brings up a logon screen.

Yeah, I put my license in and saved and everything.

Still doesn't work....

What response are you getting when you hit Save?

Oh, it just doesn't work on my computer...I just tried it from my Gnex and it worked, sorry, thanks!

then you have a router/DNS issue. Try rebooting your router.
