Hi guys, relatively new user here... and this has been baffling me. Searched as best i could but didn't find any other threads about it. My dad is loving being able to log in to my subsonic server with his iPhone and stream music. Weird thing is, lots of times when he logs in (perhaps every time, not sure) I'm just sitting at home and I start hearing the music he's streaming start playing on the host computer's speakers. No way to make it stop except end the subsonic service (or turn off my speakers).

Thanks in advance for any help!

Problem Description: When a guest is logged into my subsonic remotely, the audio plays on my home machine.
Troubleshooting Steps: Can't figure it out.
Playback Application and version: Guest is streaming using his iPhone app, not sure the version but he got it recently.
Subsonic Version: 4.6 (build 2583)
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_29, Windows 7 (63.0 MB / 96.7 MB)
Hardware Platform: Windows 7
Java Memory Limit: 100 MB
Problem Filename: N/A, happens with all files
Output from ffmpeg -i: not sure how to do this

Speaking to my dad now - the whole time when the above log was happening, turns out he couldn't even hear what was playing. So he was remotely controlling what I could hear, but couldn't hear it himself.

He's using iSub, perhaps out of date. I told him to update it.

In Settings -> Players, there's on option called "Jukebox" which means that music is played on the host's speakers, rather than streamed to the client. Check if the player your dad is using is set to use that?

Thanks for a very clear and detailed error report, by the way.

That has solved the mystery! Thanks very much. My dad said he got curious about the jukebox setting and didn't realize what it did.
