Playback Issue in Android App

I hope someone here can help with an Android App. I have had the Subsonic server set up for well over a year. It works flawlessly. I have been using the Android App on a Samsung Galaxy S phone, again working perfectly. Subsonic has been an amazing program all around, and one of my first installs on a new Samsung Galaxy Tab two weeks ago.

Here's where the issue began. The app on the tablet connects to my server fine. I can see my entire library and download songs fine. When I try to play a song, though, all I get is silence. The app brings up the art work and shows the progress bar / counter as if the song is playing. But silence. To compare it to Windows, I feel like there is an issue with the audio driver. But all other programs access the speakers / headphones normally. In fact, I can use the tablet's music player to browse to the Subsonic download folder and play my music just fine. But I really prefer the Subsonic app over anything else I've seen.

I am using SS ver 3.3 on Android ver 3.2. I've un-installed and re-installed the app with no change. I have Adobe Flash Player 11.1.111.9 (if that affects SS). Does anyone know of any version conflicts, conflicts with my device, or any suggestions about the sound issue?

Thanks, Eric

I have a user on my site that uses an ASUS transformer without any problems playing either audio or video, so there should be a good chance that the Tab should work as well.

Have you tried connecting to the demo server?

We first need to see if it's a problem with the Android app or the server.

You are also welcome to test on one of my servers if you like, just send me a PM and I'll give you the link and logon.
