Settings to save before reinstall

I'm going to be re installing my ubuntu server which has my subsonic server on it. I would like to be able to save my playlists, users, settings, recently added music, etc information for the new install. I found this topic

http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8980&p=37617&hilit=reinstall#p37611

Just wanted to make sure that what I needed to save is:

1. subsonic.script in /var/subsonic/db
2. subsonic.properties in /var/subsonic

Of course this is after stopping subsonic

Then after reinstalling with latest subsonic (i'm currently at 4.3), stop subsonic, copy those two files, start subsonic, start indexing.

Is that it?

Thanks

Jason

I would take a backup of the whole \subsonic folder just in case - you may need the database files for the recently added list :?
All the other settings are in the files mentioned. (playlists are in their own folder so np)

Seconded BKKKP's point about, at bare minimum, saving the entire /var/subsonic/db folder -- that'll have all your recent adds and most played info, along with any album reviews you've written and ratings you've assigned.

I haven't had to redo the sever here in a long while, but when I do I always save the entire /var/subsonic directory structure out of sheer safety. Once the new box is up and running, I'll start by copying over the /var/subsonic/db directory along with the /var/subsonic/subsonic.properties file, and then fire things up with the new Subsonic. If anything looks amiss, I still have all the other old files left if needed. They've never been needed :-)
