Subsonic Forum

I have Subsonic set up and working like a dream via my Smartphone, and the jukebox (i.e. homepage of the app) runs great from home where it is hosted, but I've never been able to launch a browser externally and access the site. Isn't that supported?

Thanks for any replies that may lead me to a solution, as I'd like to be able to play my collection via a browser and not just on the smartphone (reception sucks at work)

If you are trying to access subsonic from work and can't then it's possible their own firewall is blocking it.

Yes, I thought of that, but it hasn't worked from anywhere, including other people's home internet connections.
But you may be on the right track ... I am using port 6000 on which to host it, maybe this is blocked by default for most firewalls?
