Android Quirk: jukebox stops playing when unplugging headset

Problem Description: title already says all. Subsonic was playing in jukebox mode, controlled from my Android mobile. I unplugged the headset and playback stopped - which does not make sense.
Troubleshooting Steps:
Playback Application and version: Subsonic for Android 3.3
Subsonic Version: 4.6 (build 2583) – December 6, 2011
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_27, Windows Server 2008 R2 (86.5 MB / 96.7 MB) -
Hardware Platform: Windows Homeserver 2011
Java Memory Limit: 100MB
