How to successfully port forward/Port map on Mac

I have figured out how to, after much frustration (many, many hours), how to access Subsonic from outside my home network! I downloaded "lighthouse" and carefully followed the instructions on -

To make it work I had to go back and delete the port mapping I had tried to do on the airport extreme...I hope this will helps others...I spent many hours researching and had several tech savvy students helping to solve this problem (I'm a high school music teacher)...
