Hello

Some songs in my library are too short. I have mp3 file that is 940kb, and in windows media player it plays at 2:17, min:sec.

But in Subsonic it shows as 0:33 sec and the song just cuts there at 0:33?

This happens when I use web player, if I select external player I get the whole song 2:17.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I am using Subsonic version 4.6 (build 2583) – December 6, 2011

And server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_27, Windows Server 2008 R2 (204.5 MB / 326.2 MB)

with regards

Maybe the mp3 needs a fix.
Try this:
http://mp3val.sourceforge.net/index.shtml
or
http://www.foobar2000.org/ (Menue: Utilities - Fix VBR-Header or rebuilkd MP3-Stream)

Agreed corrupt vbr headers do cause SS (ffmpeg?) problems which other media players seem to be able to ignore or self correct.
Sometimes the playing times get extended and you end up listening to 4 mins of music and 5 mins of silence
The vbr rate and files size is usually a good indication of something amiss
track 1 vbr 224 play length 3:40 size 5.8 Mb
track 2 vbr 256 play length 4:20 Size 7.4 Mb
track 3 vbr 218 play length 9:10 size 4.2 Mb ????? - Houston we may have a problem :?
