Subsonic Forum

Subsonic runs as root, so it shouldn't be read/write problems as far as I can tell, but I've got most of my music on my main netbook, and have no trouble using sshfs to mount and browse it through the command line on my main netbook. But when I try to use it in subsonic, it tells me "no media directories found" or something similar to that.

I'm doing an upgrade and reboot on my server real quick, then I'll try again.

Any idea why it wouldn't be working?

Solved by not using root. I don't know why root would CAUSE a problem like this, but I'm in the "don't root if you don't have to" camp.

mounted with: sshfs 192.168.1.11:/home/robert/music ~/moremusic -o transform_symlinks,follow_symlinks

No warnings or errors in the log, and the files work fine in mocp or other media players. :/

Just purged it completely and tried again, no luck. still. So I tried the 4.7 beta, and still not working. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET MY MUSIC?!
