Change/Remove Scrollbars?

Postby takirb » Mon May 28, 2012 1:18 am

Hi all - I'm new to Subsonic. I've recently installed it on my desktop running Linux Mint, love the application! I was just wondering if there's a way to remove the scrollbars for Subsonic in the browser. I know they can be adjusted by dragging them, but is there a way to remove them completely? Or perhaps only show 3 album art images so users don't have to scroll around to read all of the "announcement" window? I can get rid of them if i up the resolution on each PC that I login from, but just wondering if there's a way in the .css file or anything that will allow the main window to be "fixed" and remove the scrolls. I'm using Subsonic 4.6 with the High-Tech theme. Not sure if that makes a different or not. I see other users' screenshots sometimes and they don't have scrollbars at all, just wondering if that's by use of the standalone application or something i've overlooked. Any help is appreciated!

Changing the browser or adjusting the screen resolution will change how subsonic looks/displays just like any other web page.
I suggest using chrome as that has very little redundant toolbars etc taking up screen real-estate and is my browser of choice for SS.

Thanks for the input. I'm always logged in with either FF or IE, but i'm not a big fan of Chrome (guess i hate new things). I notice in FF i can't even drag the scrolls around at all, but I can in IE. Now that i'm utilizing the announcement(??) window on the home screen after login, I just hate for my other users to have to scroll around, change their browser, or even their resolution to see the page comfortably. Maybe in a future version :( Again, thanks for the input!
