Possible bug with 4.6?

Not sure if anyone has experienced this and found a way to fix it, or not experienced it at all...

I have 4.6 running on a Linux machine on port 4040, with my firewall enabled to port forward that port number over to my Linux box. When I first installed, everything was fine. Did a few mods (registration, signature, and a couple minor things), and all of these worked as well.

I made a change to my Linux system, changing it from "hostname" to "hostname.local", as my Webmin tool kept reporting that it was running on an invalid IP address. Now it is reporting that it is running on the correct IP address.

But now my hostname.subsonic.org DNS name is pointing to my private IP Address (192.168.x.x) instead of my public IP address assigned by my ISP. Therefore, Subsonic is only working on my internal network now, and I can't access it externally at all. Does anyone know how to get this to report my public IP rather than my private IP address so I can access it remotely? Is this issue resolved in 4.7, or could it be looked at in time to be resolved for the full 4.7 release?

Edit: Checked firewall settings, all OK. Checked my No-Ip account, and that is all OK as well. I can PM more details to anyone who may have a solution. I think I need to edit one of the main configuration files to point SS to my public (DHCP) IP address instead of my local private IP.
Thanks!
