conflict with Seagate GoFlex network drive

hi all!
i'm new to the forum so thanks in advance for your patience and help!
i've been using subsonic for my android device and now iphone (isub) for the last 10 months or so and loving it. in fact i use subsonic to stream music to my iphone at least 3-4 days out of my work week. i recently installed a Seagate GoFlex network drive (http://www.seagate.com/home-entertainme ... flex-home/) on my acer laptop (running windows 7) for backup purposes and discovered that i'm having some sort of port conflict. when i'm home everything works great. but when i'm at work i can't access my subsonic server. isub will tell me that it's not available. and when i try to log in via the web the subsonic.org address automatically goes to my seagateshare network.
i'm not a techie person at all so i'm not so much hoping someone can help me with a walk-through. i would just like to know if this conflict can be solved so i can decide to hire a tech person to set whatever config that needs to be set with my router/laptop/network drive, or i should return the Seagate to get another brand (maybe the WD Live?) or some other options i've seen floating around the forum.
thanks !!!
mais.

What port are you using for subsonic?
If you are using port 80 then change it to say 8080

in fact i tried uninstalling the seagate "dashboard" and still subsonic is screwed up ... i may need a more thorough uninstallation ...
